Did you know 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 will experience osteoporotic fractures in their lifetime? Now's the perfect time to start strengthening your bones! — International Osteoporosis Foundation

Designed for those over 50, including those with low bone mass, osteoporosis, or a higher fall risk, this program bridges the gap between diagnosis and effective management. Focused on fall and fracture prevention, it’s perfect for empowering you to confidently take charge of your bone health.

How We Can Help You:

    • At Kaylana Wellness Collective, our 10-Week Strong Bones Program is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with low bone mass or osteoporosis, drawing on the guidelines from Healthy Bones Australia.

    • The program focuses on enhancing bone health, balance, and strength through weight-bearing impact exercises, progressive resistance training, and improvements in balance, posture, and core stability.

    • Each week, you'll engage in structured sessions that progressively challenge your body, helping you build stronger bones and reduce the risk of fractures.

    • Whether you're looking to improve mobility, increase strength, or simply boost your confidence in daily activities, our Strong Bones Program provides the tools and support you need to take control of your bone health.

  • The Strong Bones Program is suitable for:

    • Individuals over 50

    • Those at risk of falls

    • Those who already have low bone mass, osteopenia or osteoporosis

    • Anyone looking to improve bone strength, balance, and overall fitness

    • Our bones are constantly changing, with new bone being made and old bone being broken down. When you're young, your body builds new bone faster than it breaks down old bone, increasing your bone mass. Most people reach their peak bone mass around age 30. After that, bone remodeling continues, but you start to lose slightly more bone mass than you gain.

    • Osteoporosis is a condition that occurs when bone mineral density and bone mass decrease, or when the structure and strength of the bone changes. This can lead to weakened bones and a higher risk of fractures (broken bones).

    • Women, particularly postmenopausal women, are at a higher risk of developing osteoporosis, though men can be affected too.

    • According to the International Osteoporosis Foundation, 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 will experience osteoporotic fractures in their lifetime.

    • Factors such as genetics, hormone levels, and certain medical conditions can contribute to the development of osteoporosis.

Together, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan designed to fit your specific needs, goals, and lifestyle, supporting you every step of the way on your journey towards better health and wellbeing.
